The Tourism Economic Activity Monitor (STEAM) outlines the value of the sector across all ten Greater Manchester local authorities, detailing economic impact, employment supported and overall annual activity.  It enables an increased understanding of how wider economic conditions influence the visitor economy whilst tracking growth trends against key indicators.  

This document summarises the latest available data for 2024.  An updated analysis for 2025 will be available in summer 2026.
